These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Vibrant Renovations Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our renovation services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Quotes & Pricing
1.1 Quotes
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. Changes to scope, materials, or site conditions may result in a revised quote.
1.2 Variations
Any changes requested by the client after work has begun must be approved in writing.
Variations may affect the cost and timeline of the project.
1.3 Deposits
A deposit may be required before work commences. If a deposit is required, work will not begin until the deposit is received.
2. Payment Terms
Payment schedules will be outlined in your quote or invoice.
Invoices must be paid by the due date.
Late payments may incur fees or result in work being paused until payment is received.
3. Scheduling & Timeframes
We make every effort to meet proposed start and completion dates.
Timeframes may change due to weather, supplier delays, unforeseen site issues, or other factors outside our control.
We will communicate any schedule changes as early as possible.
4. Access to the Site
The client must provide safe, reasonable access to the worksite at agreed times.
Any delays caused by restricted access may affect project timelines and costs.
5. Materials & Products
All materials used will be of suitable quality and fit for purpose.
If specific brands or products are requested by the client, availability cannot always be guaranteed.
Changes in material availability may require substitutions, which will be discussed with the client.
6. Workmanship Guarantee
We stand by the quality of our work.
Workmanship carries a 12-month guarantee unless stated otherwise.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
7. Subcontractors & Licensed Trades
We may engage trusted subcontractors, including licensed plumbers and electricians, when required.
All subcontractors are expected to meet our standards of quality and professionalism.
8. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
Obtaining necessary approvals, permits, or strata permissions (unless otherwise agreed).
Ensuring personal items are removed or protected prior to work commencing.
Informing us of any known issues with the property (e.g., asbestos, structural concerns).
9. Unforeseen Issues
Renovation works can uncover hidden faults such as rot, water damage, unsafe wiring, or structural issues.
Any additional work required to address these issues will be discussed with the client and may incur extra charges.
10. Health & Safety
We follow all relevant workplace health and safety regulations.
Clients and occupants must avoid entering active work areas unless approved by the tradesperson on site.
11. Cancellation
11.1 By the Client
Cancellation fees may apply if materials have been purchased or work has already begun.
11.2 By the Company
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone work in situations that pose safety risks, non-payment, or where the job conditions are significantly different from those described.
12. Liability
We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.
We are not responsible for damage to existing structures or finishes that occurs as a result of unavoidable vibration, movement, or pre-existing defects.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights available to consumers under Australian Consumer Law (or your relevant local law).
13. Privacy
We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
This may include your contact details, job address, and project information.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with local regulations.
